Not a whole lot has happened recently, but you know how it goes. I've been studying far less that I should, been reading and dreaming far more than I should. I read Namaah's Kiss by Jacqueline Carey, and wasn't really that hyped until I fell in love with Bao. He made the story for me - I disliked Jehanne, hated Raphael, and didn't much care for Moirin, despite the fact that she was telling the story. Bao = best character, hands-down. I was saddened by the lack of BDSM. I know you can't just keep on beating a dead horse, but throw me a bone ay? Also, I think I may have fallen too far in love with Phedre & Joscelin, then Imriel & Sidonie to have enough love for a new set of characters. I want to ring India now, and see if she has read it. Or maybe I just want to ring India, because I miss her. She's at work though. Perhaps tomorrow?

Random things:
I miss my sewing machine, it broke again and I have so many ideas to get to work on.
I have discovered I like to read random strangers old LJ entries because I find it interesting to see how they became the person they are.
I am scared because we are getting a new manager at work tomorrow, and I have to impress someone new all over again. Blast.
I am 21 in 29 days time. I'm an old lady guys! At the same time, I'm excited to be seeing all my friends.
I love Shannon. It's crazy how love has grown up with us - in the beginning it was so nervous, tentative and a little bit jealous, and now it's probably the strongest, surest, most freeing thing I've ever experienced. <3

I'm young, and confused, and crazy, and I think I love it? I'm not sure exactly where I'm going, or how I'm getting there. I'm taking some time off to figure things out, and to pursure my business ideas. If I can raise some money them I'm going to do some sewing/design short courses in January, and a other business/fashion short courses throughout the rest of year. As for the rest, I don't know. I think I'm going to go and read Santa Olivia by Jacqueline Carey. Or maybe Lolita.
