Writer's Block: Kindness of Strangers

Would you donate a kidney or bone marrow to a stranger?

Yes, I'm an organ donar (I decided when I went for my license). I ticked everything except my eyes and my skin.
On a different note, my wanker of a father told me my haircut makes me look like a boy and that i need to put my hair extensions back. So, all day I have been utterly depressed and cursing my haircut. There may be 5 minutes out of 24hrs that I think "hey, it looks cute" and the rest of the time if I catch my reflection, I sigh and walk away. It's not that I hate the haircut, it's nice. I more hate the dicky, uneven short fringe she gave me. And I am a very impatient person, I want it to grow, grow, grow, now, now, now! But, there are 20 days until I have to go anywhere important, so until then, I'll be sitting in my room, drinking tea and hiding under my blankets with a beanie on my head <3

Have you ever had your feelings hurt by an animal?

Bella (my sausage dog) constantly hurts my feelings. She's a very stubborn, very rude dog at times. When I sit with her on the lounge, she gets up almost immediately and goes and sits with my father and looks at me the entire time as if to say 'am i hurting your feelings mum, look! look! i'm sitting with someone else, haha'. It isn't nice. When you talk to her, she raises one eyebrow and makes you look like a fool. If you ask her for a kiss on the cheek she won't do it and then when mum comes over she gives mum so many kisses it's ridiculous.

Yes, I have had my feelings hurt by an anaimal many times - just goes to prove, my life revolves too much around my little sausage dog. haha.

On a happier note! I got my hair cut! They cut my fringe a tad too short for my liking, but my fringe grows quickly, so it wont be long until it's back to how i like it. photos tomorrow. xxox

We have a home phone, but usually i use my mobile. Some days I use the home phone, spesh to call work and ring up to book things or pay over the phone, its more reliable then my mobile, just so it doesn't cut out half way through :)

Out of all of your favorite books, pick just one you'd recommend everyone read. As a bonus: why did you pick that one?

I have two; Tuesdays with Morrie and The Time Traveller's Wife.
Both books made me cry.  Both books are incredibly amazing stories.

Speaking about books, mum got me the Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead.  And the series is actually good. I actually like it and haven't been able to stop reading.  I'm on the final book now, the fourth one comes out at the end of this year.  I wasn't expecting much, so it was a nice suprise to find I am actually enjoying the series. :) Thanks mum <3

Today's National One Hit Wonder Day. Whole albums or entire ouvres can be quite impressive, but more often than not, individual songs have the largest impact on us. Which one hit wonders have played a major role in your life?

Writer's Block: What happened to you today?

What happened to you today?

My day started off  at 8.3am, I woke up (thanks to the dog licking my face! i missed my alarm), first thing i did was send Paul a good morning text.  I found a outfit to wear - deciding on jeans and a top rather then a dress due to cold weather (when i got into town it was sunny, totally dress weather, damn!).  First off mum took me to the post office where i posted Jaime's and Matt's birthday cards.  After that we went to Angus and Robertson and i bought Jane Eyre and The Time Traveler's Wife with the gift card my brother gave me for my birthday.  We then went to Dymocks and i pre-ordered Breaking Dawn with my book lovers card and got a discount on it.  Picking it up Monday when it is released.  I then went to a second-hand book store and bought a few dollar bargains.  Mum had to go the bank and I went to spotlight looking for a skirt for the bottom of my bed.  Not luck finding one.  Food shopping followed that, a late subway lunch and then home to continue making Nathanael's suprise present (not much of a suprise because I already half gave it away!).
Not a very exciting day, but it occupied me none-the-less and for that I am greatful.  I haven't really been feeling like myself lately.  I've been a bit down and not as cheerful as i usually am.  Just missing a few people, worrying about a few people.  I'm thinking of changing my phone network from Vodafone to something else.  Maybe 3.  I don't know.  Does anyone know a good phone network that I could change to? Vodafone is a rip-off and always stuffs up my billing and over-charges me.  Grr.

That's all.

What makes you feel better when you're mad?

When I'm mad (angry or upset) I usually; clean obsessively, cook or wash my hair.  I got really quiet as well and hardly talk for hourrrrs.
I feel better when I am doing something and not just sitting there dwelling in the fact that something made me mad.  Sometimes I dance, too. :)

I went into the city today; bought a few things.  It was absolutely freezing today. The rain and wind didn't help.  Tomorrow my brother and his girlfriend are coming down for her 19th birthday (which is today) dinner.  I'm baking her a cake tomorrow morning and i drew her a huuuuge sailor moon picture, hope she likes it.  I will post some photos or a video of it tomorrow evening.

Peace. xox

Moring and Night text messages to Paul. Except, I've been a bit lazy with them lately. He never forgets, it makes me smile so big that every morning without fail I have a "Goodmorining *insert random fact here*" message from him.
